ALL HAIL THE NOODLE SLURPING COMPETITION CHAMP!
Congrats to David Asman, winner of our 2nd annual Noodle Slurping Competition in honor of the Chinese Year of the Pig. Asman was the fastest speed-eater to conquer a heaping bowl of Chinese Lo Mein noodles and a pile of Edamame in record time. Asman, a chemistry major from UGA, said this was his, "First organized, competitive eating contest, but I've had my training in various social circles." The grand prize included a $100 gift card, Bodyplex gym membership and bragging rights for a year. An honorable mention goes to Nathan Gruber, who was the runner-up two years in a row.
